Hello and welcome to my October 2014 #write31days topic
One of my dearest friends and fellow mama let me borrow her copy of Tedd Tripp’s Shepherding a Child’s Heart and I have loved every minute I’ve been able to spend between the pages of it. It’s been challenging but I know that the groundwork we’re laying now in our family will pay off in the long run.
I’d love to take you along with me as I go back through the notes I took and break it down into manageable pieces that you can read in less than 5 minutes each day. As the note at the bottom of the header image reads, I want these 31 days to be full of notes, quotes, and anecdotes from my own family life, experience as a teacher/coach, or observations of friends’ families to both encourage and challenge you as you engage in biblical parenting.
It’s hard. Trust me, I’m in the throws of toddlerhood. And while I may not have older kiddos, I have taught and coached many both Christian and non-Christian and can confidently say that I can agree with what Tripp lays out as the important foundational pieces that must go into raising a godly child.
Won’t you join me?
